Cobra Combi
We service and sell Atlas Copco Cobra Combi and the Cobra MK1 hand operated gas powered drills / breakers. The gas powered drill / breaker is a powerful and portable drill to have in your construction toolbox. The Cobra Combi drill is a self-contained unit, which is powered by a gas engine and does not need a compressor to operate it. This is a portable unit that can get into places that a traditional air powered drill cannot. It is also a great drill for the quick job where hooking up to a compressor would not be practical. The Cobra Combi and Cobra MK1 in addition to being a great drill have a variety of accessories to complement the gas powered drill. Some of the accessories are a reamer bit, wide chisel bit, digging chisel bit, digging spade bit, clay spade bit, tie tamper bit, tamping square pad bit, ground rod driver bit, and several others in different sizes. The Atlas Copco Cobra Combi weighs in at just 55 lbs so it is easy to transport. It also runs clean, has less vibration, and produces less noise. It has the power to break concrete, cut asphalt, drill, dig, split rocks, and is easy to start. With all the available accessories it is the right tool for the right job.
The Pionjar portable gas drill is no longer in production, but we do service and carry parts for the Pionjar.
Freedom of movement, zero set-up time
With no compressors, hoses or cables to set up, gas-powered breakers are ideal for smaller jobs. They are indispensable for tasks that involve moving along a line, from position to position. Or for working in remote, inaccessible locations. And for many years, they have been a standard piece of equipment for emergency teams.
Two versions of this machine are available. While the Cobra Standard has breaker capacity only, the Cobra Combi is not only a self-contained breaker, it's a powerful drill as well. It can sink holes to the depth of 6.5 feet, and drill up to 12 inches per minute in solid granite.
A multi-purpose tool
With a wide range of tools, you can use both the Cobra Combi and Cobra Standard for everything from cutting and breaking to driving and compacting. The Combi offers the extra feature of drilling capability. Whether you neecd to just break a small patch of concrete, or split a rock, you can get the job finished with a gasoline-powered machine in the same amount of time it takes to set up a compressor and hoses.
You can use the multi-purpose Cobra Combi/Cobra Standard to :
- break concrete
- cut asphalt
- dig
- drive posts and fences
- drive rods and spikes
- tamp and compact soil
- tamp ballast/ties
- drill (Combi version only)
- split rocks (Combi version only)
Cleaner emissions, lower vibrations, less noise
Both the Cobra Combi- which is based on Atlas Copco's popular Cobra 149 drill/breaker - and Cobra Standard are modern tools that meet emerging regulations. Equipped with a catalytic converter and new carburettor, the Cobra Combi and Cobra Standard now meet the tough US emission regulations EPA1. In addition to this, a new silencer has cut the noise level from 114 dB to 110 dB, thereby fulfilling the European Noise Emission Directive (NED).
