The Model 350 is a low cost Atmospheric RF sensing instrument that detects electrical storm discharge and indicates the storms proximity in approximate distance in miles.This unit allows the operator to preset an alarm distance, and the Model 350 will then constantly monitor an approaching storm cell and when the threshold has been exceeded, the red warning lights will flash and a pulse tone will be emitted from the Model 350. The flashing lights an
d the pulsed tone will continue until the "reset" button has been pressed which returns the 350 to the monitoring mode.The external warning, strobe light and siren unit may be removed from the 350 and mounted externally to allow personnel to observe the 350 from a greater distance or in a noisy setting and respond to approaching danger.
