Before
Ingersoll-Rand went to the drawing board to design our family of large
capacity air compressors, we flew in service people from around the
country. These experts enabled us to give you a more compact,
easy to operate, continuous duty rated compressor. These efforts
provide a durable and reliable machine with low operating costs.
The innovative design of the Ingersoll-Rand HP1300 air compressor
allows more capacity while saving 23% on outside dimensions.
As the outside became smaller,
the inside became roomier.
Open and uncluttered, the inside of these
Ingersoll-Rand air compressors provide easy access to all sections of
the machinery. A side by side radiator and oil cooler rather than
the old back to back style reduces cleaning and removal time by
providing complete access through a large door at
the rear of the machine. A stepping platform incorporated in the
rear door area makes the radiator easy to fill. All adding up to
reduced maintenance time.
Simple to service, easy to
maintain.
All filters are accessible from ground level for
quick changes and easy inspections. The engine and compressor air
filters are tilted at a 12 degree angle for easier removal. A
radiator top-tank sight glass allows the operator to visually check the
coolant level from the ground. When it is necessary to climb into
the unit, Ingersoll-Rand provides a low deck with a step for convenient
access.
A priority service item was incorporated in
the design.
Our service consultants wanted easier access to the back
of the instrument panel. So Ingersoll-Rand designed a hinged
panel to be located above the service valve. The instrument panel
is located behind a lockable metal door.
New vertical separator.
The state-of-the-art vertical separator is now
standard on these compressors. Its' vertical configuration will
allow more working room for service and maintenance than the
traditional separator.
This new vertical separator has an elongated sight
glass, making it easy to check the oil level.
Safety features and security.
Standard features include ASME approved automatic
blowdown, minimum pressure and high pressure relief valves. High
water temperature, low engine oil pressure and high discharge air
temperature shutdowns are standard, as are instrument panel warning
lights for low water level and alternator charge. To insure
security while the machine is not in operation, the mufflers, air
filters and fuel tank fillers are located within the lockable doors.
Easy refueling, optional shutdown
system.
Well vented dual fillers rapidly accept refueling
from either side. The tank is large enough to provide for one
full shift operation at 100% load. An optional low fuel warning
light and shutdown system is available.
