The SYRACUSE AIR HOSE TEST GAUGE is a rugged pressure gauge with a hypodermic needle assembled to the socket. When the needle is inserted through a rubber air-line, such as used on pneumatically-operated tools, the air pressure can be measured at any point between the compressor and the tool.  It is a test instrument, to determine whether the size of a given hose is sufficient for it's length, to deliver adequate pressure for operation or to determine if a stoppage exists in the line. The guage is furnished complete with needle, removable protective sleeve with guard and leatherette carrying case.
